Membership with Literacy North Halton is recommended for all learners, tutors and volunteers who are active in the organization. Membership is also open to interested individuals, community agencies and other organizations and businesses. Members pay a $25 annual fee as determined by the Board and General Membership.

Individual membership, corporate donations, and community donations go to support the following:

• Training volunteer tutors
• Supporting LNH operations
• Providing training, books and supplies for students
• Supporting tutor and general volunteer projects
• Supporting small group training projects
• Printing materials for students and tutors
• Purchasing books and learning software
• Maintaining office equipment
• Maintaining our website
• Advertising and promoting the Read*Spell*Write program
• Funding basic amenities (heating, lighting, telephone)
